Private escape rooms

An escape room is a live puzzle experience where you and your team work together to solve a series of puzzles in order to ultimately solve a mystery and escape the room within 60 minutes.

We’re a premium product; our games are our own, and in bigger explorable spaces (meaning higher rents and rates reflected in your ticket price). We also provide a dedicated Games Master who is watching your game, and only your game (and never mix you with strangers).  It’s the Know Escape difference, it’s one of the reasons why we have thousands of five star reviews.

Comfortable clothing is recommended.

You might jump, but then you’ll laugh. We want you have fun and would never put you in danger!

The games are built in reasonably spacious areas, there may however be less spacious elements to the games.   If you would like to come and see the space before booking please let us know and we can arrange a visit beforehand.

This age may vary between our games. Any players under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over).

You have 60 minutes to escape the room.

If you fail to escape within 60 minutes the gamesmaster will let you out. You are more than welcome to come back and try again at any time.

This varies game to game.  Please check the game info for further details.

If you are going to be late please phone us on 01494 91 91 88 to let us know. Where possible we will try and make sure your game is the full 60 minutes, however we may need to shorten your game depending how late you are.

If you are more than 15 minutes late we may have to cancel your game.  Unfortunately you will not be eligible for a refund.

All will be explained when you arrive.

Unfortunately not.  All sales are final.  Please be aware our game is a live experience.  Once the booking has been confirmed refunds and cancellations are not accepted.  If you can’t make your booking please contact us as soon as possible (within 48 hours at the latest) and we will do our best to reschedule your game.

You may be asked for ID as part of proof of purchase on arrival.

Yes.  All bookings are made via our booking service (Resova.com) and payments are processed by our payment provider (Squareup.com).

You should arrive 15 minutes before your booked time.  This allows for any questions you may have to be answered an a pre-game briefing.

At a Know Escape venue you won’t find any of these themes currently.  All Know Escape games are written in house based on origial ideas without “borrowing” ideas from popular film and tv franchises.  Be sure to check out all of our original games over at knowescape.co.uk/games.
